The 2015 Formula One World Championship, the 66th season of FIA Formula One motor racing, was a continuation of the Mercedes dominance in the sport. Lewis Hamilton, driving for Mercedes, defended his Drivers’ Championship title, securing his third championship with three races to spare. Mercedes also clinched their second consecutive World Constructors’ Championship at the Russian Grand Prix, ending the season with a record 703 points.
